Responsible for Kronos conversions and implementations on the Windows platform for various clients.

1989 - 1999 : EQUIFAX, INC. - MANAGER HR SYSYTEMS SUPPORT

Considered by the department staff as the "in-house expert" on both mainframes and PCs.
KRONOS AUTOMATED TIME AND ATTENDANCE SYSTEM - responsible for all aspects of application support.
  • Installed three internal sites serving about 4,500 associates. Initiated a forth for an additional 250 associates.

  • Conceived, designed, built the business case and implemented DOS based centralized hardware increasing system control while reducing site costs.

  • Converted the system from the DOS version to Windows on a Citrix/Winframe platform.

  • Created all training materials and performed all training.

  • Created numerous enhanced reporting tools.

  • Create tools to interface payroll system with Kronos
  • HEAD COUNT REPORTS, Designed and implemented the entire Head Count reporting system. Mainframe reports transferred to PC for final printing. Subsequently converted this system to extract data from a Sybase based Client/Server Payroll/HR system.
    AUTOMATED EXIT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM - Project Leader for a PC based system to assure compliance with federal and state regulations when an employee is terminated.
    GARNISHMENTS SYSTEM - automated a manual task that required 1 1/2 man days per week. Work load reduced to under 2 hour per week.
    PAYROLL TAX SYSTEM, Mainframe programs that automated a completely manual task allowing the Tax Department to reduce staff by one person and reduce overtime hours.
    PAYROLL MASTER SUBSETS - identified the data most frequently referenced and put it into files that are quicker to reference and less costly to access. These files had a major impact on the effort required to generate most Ad Hoc reports and reduced turn around time significantly. Subsets were designed for specific user requirements in the HR arena and Benefits Administration arena.
    ADP to DBS PAYROLL CONVERSION - Designed and developed the initial mainframe conversion programs that were used as a model in five subsequent acquisitions and will be used for any future acquisitions.

    1983 - 1989 : CYBER/SOURCE, ATLANTA, GA & DETROIT, MI - VICE PRESIDENT:

    Responsible for forecasts, budgeting, marketing, and cost control of entire division. Negotiated and approved contracts with vendors. Expanded and enhanced existing product lines and marketing efforts which increased sales revenues.
    Designed and developed a computer inventory control system that allowed a reduction of inventory from 5.5 million to 4 million while sales increased from 15 million to 24 million.
    Designed, developed and implemented a computer prospect tracking system used in Atlanta.
    Opened, staffed and managed the Atlanta branch office. Grew sales to two million per year.
    Cyber/Source was a wholesale distributor of micro computers, peripherals, and software.

    1979 - 1983 : EQUIFAX, INC., ATLANTA, GA - PROGRAMMER ANALYST:

    Responsible for program design and development for the Automated Audit system.
    Provided the system design, technical, and programming skill for the Accounts Payable conversion. This conversion automated and standardized the AP system of Equifax and all of its subsidiaries.
    Developed and maintained programs for the Auto Insurance verification system, payroll, bookkeeping and general ledger systems.

    1976 - 1979 : CHRYSLER CORP. M.I.D. DEALERSHIPS, ATLANTA, GA - BOOKKEEPER:

    Full accounting responsibilities on a manual system.
